DONE!

With the first semester of nursing schools!

5 more to go (2 semesters + 3 sessions).

Of course, who knows about the final grades. I can probably kiss the A in Patho good bye though.

Tis Ok. I had a golden margarita on the rocks.

Luck

Final final is tomorrow for patho. My grade right now without the final? 90.33!! ARGG!

I've been studying nearly all of today (minus the near 30 minute run and trip to Dairy Queen), and am EXHASUTED...not to mention nervous.

good vibes my way....send em.

Stress is...

Stress is: holding onto a grade by the skin of your teeth.

Realizing that while the patho final at once looked doable (according to the blueprint), it's infact, still very very scary.

Fingers crossed for me. Research final Monday; patho final Wednesday.

A 'Mild' Snow

This is what they call 'mild'

I'll tell you something. THAT is not mild to a Florilinawarian. Especially when Sir Issac Newton decides to take over the wheel. How many more days till Spring? oh right..105...

Snow Update

Question #1 has been answered. It's now snowing hard enough that it does indeed leave wet marks all over the ground.

But the Florilinawarian has another question: Does it thunder during snow storms? This might seem obvious to you meteorology geeks (eh hem, Ryan) and you northerners, but I never gave much thought to snow weather since I grew up along Hurricane Alley.

Has anyone ever noticed that 'snow' is a four letter word? Much like f---, sh-- and work?

Dust

Usually, when I'm doing course lectures online/cd-rom, the blinds are closed (avoiding distractions). For some reason, they were open and something grabbed my eye.

It looked like dust was flying around.

Little white specks of dust.

SNOW!

I'm not sure where it's going because I don't see anything white on the ground. I guess this means the snow is melting, but this born and raised Floridian, one time South Carolina resident, and now Delaware student (aka a Flora-lina-warian) is wondering why melted snow doesn't form puddles or wet marks on the ground.

Some more important questions include:

do you use the windshield wipers when driving in snow?
And can a convertible top hold snow?

Now excuse me as I recheck to see if my patho exam grade has been posted. Fingers crossed, please!

Um...clothes please?

Did anyone else catch today's episode of Everday Italian?

I turned it on a few minutes after it started, and I'm hoping I missed something, like, maybe an explanation for the wardrobe.

Here's my, "I'm sure there's a reason for her wearing what looks like a robe over a negligee on tv" excuse:

The food must be so easy to make, you can do it first thing in the morning, right out of bed. (at least she is fully dressed for the dinner party afterwards)

Ryan's response: "WHOA! Can you email her and find out where she got that? I think you should wear that."

Typical.
