The Difference Between Here and There

There: Last year I trained for and ran a marathon. Co-workers were curious, and yes, called me crazy. MDs were curious and would talk to me about their running, their training, their races, their race memories, their family running, and how great it feels to run and/or exercise (swim, bike, etc).

Here: This year I trained for and ran another marathon. Cardio-Thoracic surgeon finds out (via other RN) that I ran a marathon and says, "What?! You? Why would you do that? You could die doing that."
