WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!!!
I just checked (again, I know, but in my defense, I just sat at the computer to start an online alcohol education course that is required for all first year UD students..yes, I know. Ridiculous for someone who has already ruined their liver with their first go at college & military life).
But anyway...97.8%

Suspense
Is KILLING ME.
I checked for my grade too many times yesterday, with no results.
Today we received an email from our teacher saying,
" just posted the grades for the first exam. "
the problem? there's no 'MY GRADES' link on the class website. I've already emailed the teacher, but she must be away from her desk. The breakdown was high score of 100 to below 60. Near perfect bell curve (7As, 14Bs, 7As, and then a few Ds and a couple of Fs).
Seriously, it's driving me crazy.
In other news,....last night was our first book club meeting and I have to say I bought (I don't bake) the CUTEST cupcakes ever. "Monster Cupcakes" because they looked like cute little monsters (the red one actually looked like elmo with the BIG white bug eyes and and long orange nose). While they were certainly cute to look at, eating was a bit of problem. I think the Cupcake to Icing ratio was 1:1.
Don't forget: Grey's Anatomy is on tonight!!

OUCH part 2
I thought the first part was bad...but the fact that he took himself to the hospital ON A MOTORCYCLE maks ME cringe.

Braindead
Our first pathophysiology exam was today.
I hope to go two days without seeing another index card.
Keep your fingers crossed for me and let's hope that the questions I missed get thrown out!
(you know I'll be checking the class website on a near hourly basis to check for my grade.)
I hate suspense.

Good Vibes??
So there might be good news up ahead...All I ask is that you keep your fingers and toes crossed and I promise to tell you all about it when (IF) everything goes as planned (about a month). Good vibes...we need good vibes.
Oh...and how about this for really cool and random thing to do in DE?
I knew UD had an ice skating rink, and I also knew that UD offers a minor in Figure Skating Coaching (no joke). I had NO IDEA that Kimmie Meissner is a student at UD AND trains at the UD rink. Last week I sold my college futon to a set of parents who have a daughter at UD. The father, who was super friendly and quite a talker, kept telling me how much I'm going to love UD and all things to do there and how they have such a great athletic department (I didn't have the heart to remind him I went to UF).
Anywho, he was the one who told me about the ice rink and Kimmie Meissner. Practices are open and he promised that if I called him, he would make it a point that I meet her (of course I'm too chicken to ever do that).
After running some errands today, I decided to stop by the rink, and lo-and-behold, I walked right into the rink, and was able to watch about 6 skaters practice on the rink at the same time, one was Kimmie Meisner herself.
How very cool.

That's for WHAT?!
Last week, I saw this sitting outside Lowe's:
I had no idea what it was. Do you? here's a hint: They don't sell them in Florida. Or South Carolina. I'm really curious to know if anyone knows what this is...comment your ideas.
