Incredibly, I've managed to get through 7 weeks of the hellish spring semester. After spring break we have 8 weeks remaining.
So here's the breakdown so far....
Med Surg 2 exam: 86 (this is the grade from the first test...your fingers should be crossed for the second test grade. Hopefully we find out soon!)
Pharm: 93
Psych: 98
Maternity: 90
Med Surg 1: 84
Communities: 92 (not impressive when you realize the class average was a 90..but considering most of the studying was done on a train ride, not too shabby)
Now that Spring Break has officially started here's a list of things to do this week:
12. CLEAN HOUSE (Ryan comes home tonight! YAY! but the house is a disaster...)
11. Work on Pharm Field Experience #1
10. Work on Pharm Field Experience #2
9. Work on Med Surg 2 Case Study
8. Work on Maternity Interview/paper
7. Complete online orientation for summer clinicals
6. Study for Pharm Exam (the thursday we get back)
5. Study for Med Surg 1 Exam (the Friday we get back)
4. Prepare for Gloria's Delivery (the Monday we get back)
3. Basically I need to study for all classes since I've virtually ignored them since the last exam...and the second exams are all in the first two weeks we get back from break.
2. Try and get into some sort of jogging schedule again.
And the number one thing I get to do over Spring Break:
1. Romance with Ryan :)
What are your plans??

Groceries
Seriously, it's one of those days.
I hate the grocery stores around here, as they don't have any of the food I'm used to eating and every time I order fish at the counter ("One salmon fillet please" or "One tilapia fillet please" etc) I get a, "One? Did you say one?"
EVERY TIME.
And I go often. Usually twice a week often. I recognizize the people working there. After five week, you would think they would remember, "Ah, yes, the girl who only buys one fish at a time..."
Anyways. I really want to go for a jog right now to clear the head, but I didn't really eat my lunch because the spinach had gone bad and the tuna wasn't right and the pita that I tried to use this morning fell completely apart.
And I know I can't run without some food but I really don't want to eat anything big at 4ish, unhelped by the fact that there is no good food in the house.
Seriously. maybe I should just go for the run to clear the head to realize that this post is completely inane.

Bleh
Second Med-Surg 2 test tomorrow.
This is the test that made me cry. It was the first time I had a test where 2 or 3 out of 4 answers were right, but I had to pick the 'most right' answer. WTF?
Anyways. After the first first Med-Surg 1 test (we're taking Med-Surg 1 & Med-Surg 2 at the same time), I didn't cry, and I was figuring that I wouldn't be crying after tomorrow's Med Surg 2 test.
Except our teacher just sent an email that was meant to be more "good luck" and "be sure to eat a good breakfast" but I read it as, "haha, stay well-hydrated and well-nourished because the test is going to be such a ball breaker that you're all going to need meds to get through the hellish spring break I'm about to wish on all of you"
I expect all of you to be crossing your fingers and toes for me tomorrow (Thursday) from about 12:30-3:00 (what was I thinking, scheduling lab test out after an exam??)
I proimse to post about the weekend in the city. Later.

Leopardtini to Me!

I need to find a picture of my shoes, because if you saw those, you would understand why that leopard martini glass is the most perfect gift from my nursing school friends.
They are incredibly cool and I'm so glad to have met such a great group in such a short amount of time.
The glass will go great with my new ultra funk-filled sari bag :) Loving it!

Won't You Tell Me Your Name?
I realize that I have my blog on the public setting.
I realize that by doing this, anyone has access and can read this blog.
I understand the concept of lurkers. I have a slew of blogs that I read and not comment. But I don't think I visit their sites more than once a day. Sure, sometimes if I have time in the morning, I'll check the blog, and again in the evening. But that's if I have time.
So I'm a little creeped out over the fact that for the past couple of months, someone has been checking out my blog multiple times a day.
We're not talking two or three times a day.
We're talking 8 times today and I believe 10 times yesterday. As in on the weekend! I understand if they are bored at work with nothing to do...then you want to see if the page is uploaded, but seriously, google has a great blogger/reader program that will tell you when pages have been updated!
So here's what I'm wondering...is it possible for a computer from the same IP address to randomly check out blogs? Is your computer reading my blog without you?
You obviously enjoy the blog (otherwise you wouldn't visit 8-10 times a day, on a near hourly basis). Please, if you enjoy, comment. Chances are I'm reading your blog too.
